(why we price the way we do)

Our wood pellets are priced by the ton, but are delivered on pallets (or skids) that sometimes hold more than one ton. We do that because it’s more efficient to ship that way, and we're able to pass those savings on to you. Plus, many customers like having a taller skid that takes up less floor space in their garage.

Delivery Charges

Delivery charges are based on the quantity of fuel purchased. Delivery costs may vary by region, but we typically charge a base fee for the first skid, and an incremental charge for each additional skid. We don’t use a hefty "per ton" fee because we know it's more efficient for everyone to order all your fuel at once.

Super Premium

Pellets with super premium ash levels have an ash content of less than 0.5 percent. Less ash means cleaner stoves. This ash level greatly exceeds industry standards for pellet fuel.

Premium Plus

Pellets with premium plus ash levels have an ash content between 0.5 and 0.75 percent. They have less ash than many premium pellets, which means less cleaning for your stove. This ash level exceeds industry standards for pellet fuel.

Premium

Premium pellets have less than 1 percent ash content, and meet industry standards for pellet quality. At WoodPellets.com, all of our brands have at least premium ash levels, and many exceed this standard.
